Pomodoro timer
A Pomodoro timer for a study room or a co-working session, on the shared TV or projector. It runs 25 minutes of work and a 5-minute break, four times, with the time big enough to read across the room.
One timer for the whole study room
A Pomodoro session is 25 minutes of focused work and a 5-minute break, repeated four times. Put it on the room’s screen and everyone starts and stops together, instead of checking four phones.
It works in a study room, a co-working table, a classroom or a home office. The work or break label, the seconds left and the round are big enough to read from across the room. It starts when the page opens. After four rounds, take a longer break, then reload the page for another set.
Put it on a TV
- Make it above. The preview is exactly what the screen shows.
- Open it on the screen. Press Open fullscreen on that device, or send yourself the link. For a TV with an account, open ownscreen.com/tv and enter its code on your phone.
- Leave it running. It fits any screen size and asks the screen to stay on.
Questions
- What is the Pomodoro technique?
- Work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break, and repeat. After four rounds, take a longer break. This page runs the four work and break rounds; the longer break is not a separate slide.
- Does it beep or pause?
- Not yet. It is a silent visual timer that starts when the page opens; reloading starts the four rounds again from the beginning.
- Can I use other lengths?
- Yes. Set the work and break minutes and the number of rounds, from 1 to 120 minutes and up to 99 rounds. For a longer break, open the classroom timer or reload for a fresh set.
