Magic 8 ball, on the big screen
Ask a yes or no question out loud, then tap: the answers shuffle and one lands big on the TV or projector for the whole room. Free, with no app.
A party answer everyone can see
Someone asks a question out loud, you tap the screen or press Space, and the answers flick past before one lands in giant type. It works for game nights, classroom warm-ups, office parties and birthday tables, on any screen with a browser.
It comes with twenty answers of our own: ten that lean yes, five that say not yet and five that lean no, and every ask draws from all of them, so the same answer can come up twice. Change the list to your own answers, inside jokes or a class quiz. Answers come from your browser’s random numbers; it is a game, not advice.
Put it on a TV
- Make it above. The preview is exactly what the screen shows.
- Open it on the screen. Press Open fullscreen on that device, or send yourself the link. For a TV with an account, open ownscreen.com/tv and enter its code on your phone.
- Leave it running. It fits any screen size and asks the screen to stay on.
Questions
- How do I ask it?
- Say the question out loud, then click, tap or press Space on the screen, or press Ask on your phone on a live screen.
- Can I write my own answers?
- Yes. Put one answer per line in the list; it needs at least two. The answers stay in the link, and nothing is stored on our servers.
- Is this the Magic 8 Ball toy?
- No. Magic 8 Ball is a trademark of Mattel, and OwnScreen is not affiliated with it. The answers and the design here are our own.
