Airport pickup sign
Type the name, open it fullscreen and hold up your phone or tablet at arrivals. Big letters fill the screen, with no app and no printer.
Why a screen beats a paper sign
Arrivals halls are crowded, and drivers often meet several flights a day. A tablet or phone shows the name in letters as big as the screen allows, and you can change it between pickups in seconds. There’s nothing to print and nothing to crumple.
Keep the link in your bookmarks or messages and open it again on the next trip. For a business pickup, put the company name on the first line and the guest’s name on the second.
Put it on a TV
- Make it above. The preview is exactly what the screen shows.
- Open it on the screen. Press Open fullscreen on that device, or send yourself the link. For a TV with a free account, open ownscreen.com/tv and enter its code on your phone.
- Leave it running. It fits any screen size and asks the screen to stay on.
Questions
- Do I need an account?
- No. The link holds the whole sign, so you can bookmark it or send it to whoever is meeting the flight.
- Will my screen stay on?
- OwnScreen asks your phone or tablet to keep the screen on while the sign shows. Turn the brightness up so it reads across the hall.
- Can I use it for a company pickup?
- Yes. Type the guest’s or company’s name. In the editor you can add a logo from an image link.
