Score, quarter and clock on one screen

Set the team names, choose the quarter and set the clock. The default is 8 minutes, the usual length for US high school games; set 10 for FIBA games or 12 for the NBA. The minutes field takes any length from 1 to 60, so junior and recreational games fit too.

The clock starts when the screen opens. Tap or click it, or press Space, to pause and resume; R puts it back to the full quarter and waits. For the next quarter or overtime, choose it above and open the screen again. Press Start to run it on the stage, where the arrow keys change the score. It does not track fouls, timeouts or possession.

Put it on a TV

  1. Make it above. The preview is exactly what the screen shows.
  2. Open it on the screen. Press Open fullscreen on that device, or send yourself the link. For a TV with an account, open ownscreen.com/tv and enter its code on your phone.
  3. Leave it running. It fits any screen size and asks the screen to stay on.

Questions

How do I add points?
Press Start to run the scoreboard on the stage, then use +1 or Set to for either team; there are no +2 or +3 buttons, so tap +1 twice for a two-pointer or set the score directly. With a free trial the same controls are on your phone. For the shot clock, open ownscreen.com/shot-clock on a second screen.
How long is a quarter?
That is up to your competition. The page starts at 8 minutes for US high school, and you can set 10 for FIBA or 12 for the NBA, or any length from 1 to 60. Overtime is in the quarter list.
Can I stop the clock?
Yes. Tap or click the screen, or press Space, to pause and resume it; R sets it back to the full quarter and waits. When it reaches zero it stays at zero, and the score stays on screen.
