Coin flip
Flip a coin on the big screen and let it land. It spins and shows Heads or Tails in giant type, so the whole room sees the call. Free, with no app.
A coin toss everyone can see
Settle who goes first, break a tie or start a game without hunting for a coin. The result fills the screen, so nobody has to trust whoever is holding it.
The flip uses the random numbers your browser provides. That is plenty for a game or a decision, but it is not certified or audited randomness, and it is not meant for gambling or betting of any kind.
Put it on a TV
- Make it above. The preview is exactly what the screen shows.
- Open it on the screen. Press Open fullscreen on that device, or send yourself the link. For a TV with an account, open ownscreen.com/tv and enter its code on your phone.
- Leave it running. It fits any screen size and asks the screen to stay on.
Questions
- How do I flip it?
- Open the sign fullscreen and click, tap or press Space. On a live screen, press Flip on your phone and every screen flips together.
- Can the same side come up twice in a row?
- Yes. Each flip is independent, so Heads can land several times before Tails appears.
- Is this a fair coin?
- It uses the random numbers built into your browser, which is fair enough for games and decisions. It is not certified randomness and must not be used for gambling or betting.
