Fundraising thermometer
Show how close you are to your goal on a TV in the hall, the lobby or a livestream. The bar fills as the total grows. With a free account, you update the total from your phone during the event.
Update the total from your phone
Save this screen with a free account and go live. As pledges come in, set the new total on your phone, and the number and the bar on the TV catch up within seconds.
A goal meter everyone in the room can see
Schools, churches, clubs and charities show a fundraising thermometer so everyone can watch the total climb toward the goal. A paper poster needs someone with a marker; a TV with a link keeps itself up to date.
Use it at a gala, a sponsored run, a bake sale or on a livestream. In the editor you can add your donation page as a QR code beside the bar, so people can give while they watch.
Put it on a TV
- Make it above. The preview is exactly what the screen shows.
- Open it on the screen. Press Open fullscreen on that device, or send yourself the link. For a TV with a free account, open ownscreen.com/tv and enter its code on your phone.
- Leave it running. It fits any screen size and asks the screen to stay on.
Questions
- Does the bar fill up by itself?
- It fills to match the total. On a plain link the total stays as you typed it; on a live screen you change it from your phone and the bar follows within seconds.
- Can I use another currency?
- Yes. Type any sign or unit, such as €, £ or R$. Numbers get the separators of the sign’s language.
- What happens when we pass the goal?
- The bar stays full and the total keeps counting, so the screen shows how far you went over.
