Pick a game, then play it here

Spin the wheel and the room gets its next Christmas party game. Each game runs on the same screen, so nobody has to download an app. For an office party, keep the prizes small and the dares kind.

Christmas quiz: split into teams and read the questions aloud, with the answer hidden until you reveal it. Christmas bingo: print a card for everyone, then call the same words from the TV. White elephant: draw the order for a gift exchange, with the house rules underneath.

Left right Christmas game: read a story aloud while everyone passes a wrapped gift left and right. Christmas countdown: put the time to Christmas, or to the start of the party, on the screen. Would you rather and icebreaker questions: quick rounds that get a quiet room talking.

Truth or dare: the party set suits adults, and the family set suits kids. Online scoreboard: keep team scores on the TV, updated from a phone, between games.

Every page is free and needs no account. Open the one you want, or press Customize in the editor to change the questions, words or colours first.

Put it on a TV

  1. Make it above. The preview is exactly what the screen shows.
  2. Open it on the screen. Press Open fullscreen on that device, or send yourself the link. For a TV with an account, open ownscreen.com/tv and enter its code on your phone.
  3. Leave it running. It fits any screen size and asks the screen to stay on.

Questions

How do we choose the next game?
Give the wheel a spin: the room sees it slow down and stop on one game, and everyone knows what is next. With “Lands on each choice once” a game drops out after it has been picked, so the party does not repeat the same one.
How many people can play?
It works for a small team or a room of thirty. Team games such as the quiz and scoreboard suit larger groups; white elephant and the left right game work best in circles of eight to twelve.
Can I add our own games to the wheel?
Yes. Type one game per line in the Choices field, up to sixty, or press Customize in the editor. Keep the list to the games you can actually run in the time you have.
